Strawberry Pretzel Salad Recipe

Ingredients:

– 2 cups pretzel sticks – 1/4 cup butter, melted – 3 tablespoons sugar – 8 oz cream cheese, softened – 1 cup sugar – 1 container whipped topping (8 oz) – 1 package strawberry Jell-O (6 oz) – 2 cups boiling water – 2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced

Instructions:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Crush pretzels into small pieces and combine with melted butter and 3 tablespoons sugar. Stir to coat evenly.

Press the pretzel mixture into the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes and allow to cool completely.

In a mixing bowl, beat softened cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Fold in whipped topping and spread over cooled pretzel crust.

Dissolve Jell-O in boiling water, stirring until fully dissolved. Let the mixture cool to room temperature, then pour over the cream cheese layer.

Refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours, or until Jell-O is firm and set. This allows all the layers to come together.

Once set, arrange sliced strawberries on top of the Jell-O layer. The fresh fruit will add a burst of flavor and color to the dish.

Chill for an additional hour before serving. Cut into squares and enjoy this sweet, salty, and creamy dessert that's perfect for any occasion!
