Chocolate Chip Cookie Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

– ¾ cup butter (softened) – 1 cup brown sugar – ¼ cup granulated sugar – 1 egg + 1 egg yolk – 1 tbsp vanilla extract – 2 cups all-purpose flour – 1 tsp baking soda – ½ tsp salt – 1½ cups chocolate chips – Optional: frosting for decorating

In a mixing bowl, cream the softened butter with brown and white sugars until light and fluffy. Add the egg, yolk, and vanilla; beat well.

In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.

Fold in the chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough. Reserve a few chips to press on top before baking for a polished look.

Press the dough into a greased 9-inch round pan. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center. Cool fully.
